OUR STORY
TRU Pizza Co was established in honor of our daughter, TRU, who has Celiac Disease and Eosinophilic Esophagitis. Because of our fear of gluten cross-contamination and limited dining options, the idea of creating a 100% gluten free and nut free restaurant was born. Today, we are one of the only gluten-free and nut-free pizzerias in the entire state of Michigan.

We Believe that pizza is meant to be shared; it brings us together to break bread at the table, share stories, laugh, and make great memories. Our Promise to you is:
To always be TRUly Gluten Free with no Cross Contact with ANY Gluten. We ONLY use All Gluten-Free + Gourmet ingredients that are Honest.Wholesome.Tru. Providing a safe eating environment for those with food allergies is our WHOLE purpose. We promise to be HONEST with you about all of the ingredients we use. To give OUR Guests our absolute best. Things don’t always go smoothly or perfectly every time; we will be the first to admit that; we don’t have all the answers, but we always promise to try our best.

GOURMET + GLUTEN FREE
The secret of our dough is a dedicated focus on freshness. All proofing, slicing and cutting is done daily in-house. It is not frozen, nor does it come out of a bag. A unique crust for unique individuals.
With an eye toward the future, we aim to re-think delicious comfort food and present pizzas in a variety of styles. From favorites like New York Style and Chicago Deep Dish, to vegan and vegetarian options, our pizzas are so good, you won’t not know it’s gluten free.
